Welcome to this 3rd edition of The Place to crowd, organized by Financement Participatif France and Mangopay.
The crowdfunding sector is subject to harmonization at European level. Thus, from November 10, 2021, platforms that wish to continue providing crowdfunding services will have to obtain European approval as a European crowdfunding service provider. This webinar is therefore an opportunity to have an overview of the crowdfunding markets across Europe and to learn about the platforms’ feelings regarding the new status to come according to the regions.
What are the most used financing tools? What sectors are using crowdfunding to develop or finance their growth? Are crowdfunding platforms eagerly awaiting the new regulations? Are they already active all over Europe? …) in different regions of Europe, as the new regulation will create a European crowdfunding market?
To answer these questions:
- Jérémie Benmoussa, President of Financement Participatif France
- Karsten Wenzlaff, Research Affiliate in Alternative Finance, Crowdfunding, Blockchain and Fintech Regulation at Bundesverband Crowdfunding
- Kirsti Pent, partner at TGS Baltic Estonian office & member of the Finance Estonia’s crowdfunding working group
- Ramon Saltor, member of the Crowdfunding vertical of the AEFI
